Demonstrator:

Finin Liam Christie

Finin Liam Christie is a blacksmith and carpenter in Southern Ireland who's been blacksmithing since he was 16 years old. Originally from Dublin, he was a blacksmith apprentice for the national railway before working as the official contractor for the City of Dublin. A father of five, he owns his own forge where he specializes in steel and ironwork, primarily making gates and railings with traditional techniques.

Demonstrator:

Ken Zitur

The name behind "Ken's Custom Iron" and the man behind the MZ75 and KZ100 Power Hammers and the vast selection of Quick and Rapid Tongs, Ken's start to blacksmithing also began with the railroad. Ken’s Custom Iron was his dream after completing his apprenticeship and receiving his diploma from the Railway Education Bureau. In 1988, he
took his love of metal work and opened up shop. Ken’s wife, MaryLou, joined him in the business shortly after. Together, they now enjoy working in the shop together on a daily basis on building power hammers, fulfilling store orders, and teaching classes.
